The health and safety of our guests and employees is our priority and we would therefore like to advise of the measures and regulations we have in place to ensure this.
GENERAL HYGIENE MEASURES
Mouth and nose covering
If a distance of at least 1 meter cannot be maintained then a mouth and nose covering must be worn.
Mouth and nose protection is compulsory on all cabins and lifts for the entire duration of the journey (this applies even if only people from the same household are in the cabin).
Buildings / Cable car stations / restaurants: Mouth and nose covering must be worn at all times and in all areas. This includes all the waiting areas for the lifts, ticket offices and ski rental at the valley station and all restaurants.
- The cabins of the Tiroler Zugspitzbahn may only be occupied by 50 %, ie 50 people.
- Please note that there is a border on the peak between Austria and Germany and that Zugspitzplatt ski area is in Germany.
OTHER PRECAUTIONS WE ARE TAKING
- Disinfectant dispensers are available in all the entrance areas.

- Our employees are regularly tested for COVID 19.
Cashless payment is available in all our ticket offices.
We have no daily maximum transportation limit in our cable cars – all guests will receive a ticket and be transported (subject to daily changes)
Please note that there is a border on the peak between Austria and Germany and that Zugspitzplatt ski area is in Germany.
A multi-functional mouth and nose covering can be purchased for € 1,00 from our ticket offices.
Please make use of all the open spaces and fresh air thereby contributing to preventing the spread of the Coronavirus, and please adhere to all the guidelines we have in place.
